Nice to meet you,

Nice to meet you, it’s Judith!

Based in Barcelona, passionate about art and tech, I love to design by day🌞, learn about new cool features by afternoon🌄, and a bit of gaming by night🌙. I also enjoy reading, doing some exercise and yoga in the nature🌿.
I consider myself a creative and sensitive woman but also disruptive, restless, and proactive!

In my professional journey, I have been filling my backpack with knowledge about Communication, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Product Design, and a bit of design programming, but also about Illustration, editing, video, and photography, all thanks to my adaptability (chameleon-like) to this changing digital world we live in 🦎.

How do I like to work?

🔹 Listening, empathizing, and understanding the problem I need to cover (over and over 🔄).

🔹 User experience first! 🫂.

🔹 Understanding, analyzing, and using data! No data, no design, but also no business 🤓.
🔹 Documentating absolutely everything of my work📄.
🔹 Working hand in hand with PM and Tech Lead, being part of the Product Trio as PD ✨.

🔹 Agile and effective, never losing focus, even if new problems are uncovered while working on the Backlog.

🔹 Always using Design Systems whenever possible to make sure my designs are scalable.

🔹 So, creating responsive products is a must, but also inclusive, accessible, and containing a solid. Information Architecture. Beautiful and original products can be created without losing hierarchy 😎.

Key learnings

Design is not only about creating beautiful screens, Design is being part of a solid and cooperative team, is about addressing problems with solutions, is trying-testing-trying again. Design pieces are live, like humans and technology are.

Find below some key learnings I have learned during my journey about designing digital products.

Listen, understand and find the problem.
That’s our start.

By asking questions, researching, and aligning with other teams. The aim is to anticipate problems, understanding and prioritizing them.

Write an hypothesis for our problem.

A clear task backlog is essential for prioritizing problems and testing hypotheses, while data provides organization, context, and focus.

Write possible solutions.
Find the blue ocean!

Crazy solutions that appear at the end of a cross-team discovery workshop are the ones! Research and data help find our unique value, balancing business and user needs for successful outcomes.

Create a first MVP, experiment.
UI Screens moment!

Applying UX/UI principles ensures consistency. Progressing through versions, from simple to complex, while collaborating closely with the tech team. Having a Design System already? Lucky us!

Test moment. Are we giving the solution to our problem?

Despite the growing backlog, stay focused! Testing with stakeholders, iterating, and learning will transform inputs into outcomes.

Keep building, iterating and analyzing data, share.

Data is our best friend (did I already told you?), guiding us to design with certainty. Analyze, learn, build, iterate, and start over if necessary. Our product is live 🙂
